280 constables pass out from Madhuban academy

With the passing out parade of the 89th batch of recruit basic course (RBC) on Thursday at the Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban, the state police have received another highly qualified batch of constables.

As many as 280 constables passed out and took the oath in a colourful ceremonial parade after successfully completing their basic training.

Of these newly recruited constables, 219 are men and 61 women. Among them, 31 are postgraduates, 1 professional postgraduate, 135 graduates, 37 professional graduates, eight diploma holders, 64 Class XII pass while four are metric pass.

DGP Manoj Yadava exhorted the newly inducted constables to discharge their duty with utmost dedication as their responsibility towards the society and in the interest of the nation increases after becoming a part of the police force. He also urged them to keep patience while discharging their duties.

The DGP also described the public service as paramount and added that one should put extra efforts to ensure justice while serving the mankind.

He also counted the achievements of the Haryana Police during the pandemic.

The DGP also honoured Constables Geeta Rani, Monika and Sangeeta for securing the first, second and third positions in training, respectively.

Haryana Police Academy director Dr CS Rao said of the newly recruited constables, the training of 61 was started at Madhuban, while of 219 men at the PTC, Sunaria, Rohtak, on August 1, 2020.

Meanwhile, the DGP also dedicated 24 newly constructed residences of inspectors, constructed with the cost of Rs 4.17 crore. He also honoured six police personnel with the Union Home Minister Medals and certificates for their commendable performance in the training during 2018-19.
