3 illegal colonies razed in Rohtak villages
The unauthorised colonies were being developed on approximately 11.5 acres
The district administration has continued its ongoing drive to demolish illegal constructions and colonies in controlled and urban areas.
On Thursday, as part of this campaign, five foundations, WBM roads, kutcha road networks, interlocked tile roads, sewerage networks, and two illegal constructions were demolished in three unauthorised colonies being developed on approximately 11.5 acres of land in Bhaiyapur and Bohar villages.
Officials and staff from the District Town Planner’s Office were present during the demolition, supported by adequate police forces to maintain law and order and address any potential disruptions.
DC Sachin Gupta reiterated that the district administration would not allow the proliferation of illegal constructions and colonies. “This campaign will continue and we urge citizens not to invest theirmoney in illegal developments,” he said.
