The Bhiwani police today arrested three more persons in the court complex shooting cause that took place on last Thursday. They also seized four illegal weapons from the possession of the accused.
SP Sumit Kumar claimed that the accused were planning to carry out a crime, however, before they could act, the Special Task Force (STF) team arrested them and seized four foreign-made weapons. He said efforts were underway to arrest the other accused. So far, six had been arrested.
The investigation is being carried out by the Crime Branch, Bhiwani, and the STF. In the incident, Lovjeet, a resident of Maukra in Rohtak, had sustained two bullet injuries.
During investigation, the STF, Rohtak unit, arrested two accused today near the Tosham-Bhiwani bypass — Amit of Baliyali village, Bhiwani district; and Param of Bhadani village, Jhajjar district. A case has been registered against them at Bhiwani City Police Station under the relevant Sections.
Later in the afternoon, the third accused, Ankit of Baliyali village, was also arrested with an illegal pistol. All three were produced before the court, where the police sought remand for further interrogation.
