A police team has seized three vehicles, including two tippers, which were allegedly transporting illegal mining mineral. According to information, the police were checking vehicles at a barricade near Kanalsi village of the district on May 30, and found two tippers loaded with broken 'bajri', but mining mineral coarse sand was mentioned in the e-transit passes available with the drivers of both tippers.

The passes had been issued by two separate screening plants of the district. A screening plant cannot issue a transit pass of broken 'bajri', as it can be done only by stone crushers.

The police also seized a truck carrying broken stones.

But a screening plant had issued the transit pass of pebble gravel. As per the pass, there should be round bajri in the truck.
