A three-year-old boy was killed when he was allegedly hit by a tipper near Vishwakarma Chowk in Yamunanagar on Wednesday.

The accident took place when Ravinder Kumar, his brother-in-law Dharmender and Ravinder’s son, Roy, were waiting for an auto-rickshaw near Vishwakarma Chowk.

After killing the boy, the tipper allegedly hit a tractor-trailer injuring its driver, too.

In a complaint to the police, Ravindra Kumar of Kushinagar, (Uttar Pradesh) said he was at present living at Gulab Nagar Colony in Yamunanagar.His brother-in-law Dharmender of Kushinagar, who worked in a company at Gurugram, came to meet them in Yamunanagar on April 14, 2025.

He further said his brother-in-law was to go to Gurugram for his work on Wednesday.

“He said in the accident, the driver of the tractor, Mirhasan of Karnal district, sustained injuries and his tractor got damaged badly. On the complaint of Ravinder Kumar, a case was registered against an unidentified tipper driver under Sections 281, 125 (A), 105 and 324 (4) of the BNS at City police station, Yamunanagar, on Wednesday.
