Chandigarh, February 5

A total of 4,069 people got vaccinated in the state today, taking the total number of vaccinated people in the state to 1.38 lakh.

Also, with one death in Gurugram and 84 fresh cases, the overall Covid tally of Haryna reached 2.68 lakh.

No new case was recorded in seven districts today. A total of 96 people got cured in the last 24 hours.

Rohtak: A motivational session was organised on Friday to exhort PGIMS students to get the vaccine administered on them.

The health workers attending the session were categorically told that Saturday would be the last day to get themselves registered for getting the vaccine.

Prof (Dr) OP Kalra, Vice-Chancellor of Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, pointed out that he as well as his 87-year-old mother had volunteered for human trials of Covaxin.
