During a press briefing, DSP Sushil Prakash informed that the operation was carried out under the supervision of sub-inspector Ramesh Kumar, in-charge of the special detective unit, along with sub-inspector Mukesh Kumar and his team. While patrolling, the team received a tip-off that two white cars were transporting a large quantity of doda post from Khanauri bypass towards Kaithal via Padla road. Acting swiftly, the police set up a naka on Padla road and began checking vehicles.
