At least four persons were killed and 16 others were injured when a pick-up vehicle they were travelling in collided with a canter on the KMP Expressway near Nilothi village under Bahadurgarh sub-division early Wednesday.

Some of the injured have been referred to the PGIMS in Rohtak due to their critical condition.

The canter driver also reportedly suffered injuries in the mishap.

Bahadurgarh DCP Mayank Mishra told The Tribune that the mishap took place around 2:15 am when a group of migrant labourers, travelling from Uttar Pradesh to Mahendragarh in a pick-up vehicle, met with the accident.

“All the injured are currently undergoing treatment in the hospitals,” he added.
