The Gurugram police have arrested four persons for assaulting and committing robbery at a sports item shop in the Sector 65 area. The police have impounded a three-wheeler used in the crime, and recovered a motorcycle and four stolen cricket bats from their <
possession.
The accused have been identified as Azad, Vishwas, Ajay and Sonu.
According to the police, the incident took place in Kadarpur village on the night of March 3. The accused attacked the employee, who was sleeping at the shop, and robbed him of some cash and four cricket bats. An FIR was registered at the Sector 65 police station.
During investigation, a crime unit team of the Sohna police, led by Inspector Satya Prakash, arrested all four accused. “We have taken
the accused in police remand and are questioning them,” said a spokesperson of the Gurugram police.
