Chandigarh, July 13
Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala today said five Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) hospitals would be set up and the existing hospital in Gurugram would be upgraded to provide affordable and accessible treatment to the employees of the industrial sector.
Dushyant was presiding over a review meeting of officials of the ESI and Labour Department on various issues.
The Deputy Chief Minister said a 100-bed ESI hospital would be built at Bahadurgarh (Jhajjar). Since there were several industrial units in the Bawal area of Rewari district, another 100-bed ESI hospital would come up at IMT Bawal. ESI dispensary buildings would be constructed at Badi village (Gannaur, Sonepat) and Rai (Sonepat) for the treatment of labourers. Dushyant said new 100-bed ESI hospitals each would be set up in Sonepat, Hisar and Rohtak. — TNS
