Kurukshetra: 50% hostel fee waiver for BPL students
Kurukshetra, July 22
The Kurukshetra University (KU) administration has decided to give 50 per cent hostel fee waiver to students belonging to the BPL category for the 2024-25 academic session.
Deputy Director of Public Relations Jimmy Sharma said while submitting the hostel form, the students would have to submit documents related to the BPL category like latest income certificate, ration card and certificate issued by the District Food and Supply Officer. She added that 50 per cent fee waiver would be given only after the warden of the concerned hostel checks the authenticity of all the documents submitted by a student.
