52 Gurugram flat owners booked

The Gurugram police registered an FIR against 52 flat owners of the Central Park Society, Sohna road, for accommodating foreign nationals without filling the ‘C form’ and without informing the police. An FIR was registered at the Bhondsi police station.

According to a police spokesperson, a team from the Bhondsi police station was checking hotels, guest houses and various societies in view of the security of Independence Day in the compliance of the instructions issued by the administration.

During this, the police team reached Central Park Society Sohna Road and asked the person present at the reception for the record of the people living in the flats. During this, foreign nationals were found staying in 52 flats without informing the police and without filling the C form.

“Whenever any foreign national stays in their hotels, houses, guest houses or flats, they should inform Gurugram Police about the same and fill the C form in compliance with Section 7 of the Foreigner Act. A case will be registered if foreign nationals are accommodated without filling the form. There is a provision of punishment up to five years under Section 14 of the Foreigner Act. Anyone can fill the Form through the online portal of the Bureau of Immigration by completing the registration process on the FRRO website indianfrro.gov.in,” said Gurugram Police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar.
