Farmers have registered 53% of the projected rabi crop area in the state on ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora’ (MFMB) portal.
January 31 is the last date to register on the portal. Sources, however, said the registration date may soon be extended.
An Haryana State Agriculture Marketing Board official said 47,59,636 acres of the total 8,98,59,432 acres under rabi has been registered by 7,92,221 farmers. Karnal district has the highest number of farmers (47,302) registering the most land (68.71%), followed by Kurukshetra, where 39,871 farmers registered 68.13 per cent of the projected area. Mewat district has the lowest registration as 13,324 farmers registered only 28.16 per cent of the total projected cultivated area on the portal.
