Karnal: 6 students fall ill after having midday meal

Karnal, July 25

Six students allegedly fell ill after consuming the midday meal at Government Senior Secondary School, Pundri village, today. Four of the affected students were admitted to a hospital in Panipat, where three are reported to be stable, while one is undergoing treatment, said an official of the Education Department.

The department has initiated an inquiry. Jyotsana Mishra, Deputy District Education Officer, said, “We have collected samples which will be sent for testing.”
