60 students participate in workshop on Digital Literacy

Indira Gandhi National College, Ladwa, organised a workshop on Digital Literacy to equip students with the knowledge about open educational resources (OER) and digital platforms to enhance their academic and professional growth.

A total of 60 students participated, demonstrating a keen interest in exploring digital learning tools. Dr Rupesh Gaur, the college librarian, provided an insightful overview of the library’s diverse services and illustrated how students could effectively utilise e-resources to support their studies and future career pursuits.

Dr Surinder Singh, assistant professor of Hindi and NSS coordinator, addressed the students, encouraging them to make the most of the library's resources for academic enrichment and lifelong learning. He stressed the importance of developing a habit of utilising digital knowledge platforms to stay ahead in today’s competitive world.

The workshop concluded with an engaging interactive question and answer session, where students actively participated, reflecting their curiosity and eagerness to embrace digital literacy.

The event marked a step towards promoting digital education and library resource awareness, resonating with the college’s vision of nurturing independent and self-directed learning among the students.
