6,262 complaints resolved at ‘Samadhan Shivir’ in Sonepat
Launched in June this year, the ‘Samadhan Shivir’ in Sonepat district has witnessed the resolution to 6,262 complaints of the total 7,590 taken up so far. While 827 unresolved complaints have been marked to various departments for resolution, 269 complaints have been rejected by the district administration.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini launched the ‘Samadhan Shivir’ programme in the state during his first tenure. He directed all Deputy Commissioners to organise ‘Samadhan Shivir’ to hear grievances of residents on a daily basis and to resolve their problems on the spot.
Following the CM’s directions, the ‘Samadhan Shivir’ started on June 10. As per the available information, in Sonepat, the programme started with only 47 complaints on the first day. However, the number of complaints take up at the ‘Samadhan Shivir’ have now reached 7,590.
