704 pass out from Madhuban police academy

As many as 704 police personnel comprising six Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), 17 sub-inspectors, and 681 women constables successfully passed out from the Haryana Police Academy, (HPA), Madhuban, on Saturday. They have officially been inducted into the Haryana police force.
The Director-General (DG) of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Sadanand Vasant Date, was the chief guest, who inspected the parade. The Director-General of Police (DGP), Haryana, Shatrujeet Kapur, was the guest of honour. Dr CS Rao, Director, HPA, Madhuban, welcomed the chief guest and highlighted the achievements of the academy and about the training imparted to the batch.
The NIA DG emphasised the importance of teamwork in maintaining peace, security, stability and harmony in the country.
He also highlighted that ranks from constable to inspector were the backbone of the police force and it must be strong.
Date stressed that only those who worked with dedication, responsibility, integrity, and vigilance could improve their work and also strengthen themselves. Date also underscored the important role of trainers in the lives of trainees and stressed on strict discipline maintained during the training.
Date expressed confidence that the hard work and dedication shown by these officers during their training would reflect in their duties. He honoured top performers in training, including DSPs Tanuj Sharma and Rishabh Sodhi and probationer sub-inspector (PSIs) Rakesh, Nikesh, Sandeep, as well as women constables Preeti, Rajita and Ritu.
DGP Kapur, while interacting with mediapersons, said 704 police personnel passed out and they would serve society. Academy Director Dr Rao said among the new police personnel, 306 were postgraduate, 22 had professional postgraduate degrees, 319 were graduates, 20 had professional bachelor’s degrees, and 37 had completed their Class XII.
The training for DSPs and sub-inspectors lasted one year, while the training for women constables was for nine months, and all trainings were conducted at the HPA, Madhuban.
