75% public complaints resolved at camps in Charkhi Dadri district
Charkhi Dadri, July 13
Claiming that Charkhi Dadri, the newest district of the state, is fifth in resolving problems through Samadhan Shivirs, a district administration spokesperson said here today that over 75 per cent complaints received by the administration had been resolved so far.
As per data, 1,056 complaints were received — mostly related to Parivar Pehchaan Patra (PPP), policing, public health and panchayat departments, encroachments and property IDs. Of these, 972 complaints had been resolved and the remaining were related to court cases and subject to policy matters, the spokesperson informed.
Deputy Commissioner Mandeep Kaur said encroachments and waterlogging formed the major chunk of complaints being filed by residents. Apart from public problems and demands, personal matters were also being raised at the shivirs. “Encroachment and waterlogging are among the biggest problems in the district. The administration is taking prompt action for a lasting solution to the problem,” she said.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini had issued instructions to all districts to hold the shivirs from June 10. The Deputy Commissioners and SPs have been attending to people coming with their problems to the shivirs.
The Charkhi Dadri DC has issued a strict warning to officials not to take any complaint casually and ensure proper redressal.
Sujata Sangwan, an NRI, who visited the shivir with a complaint regarding encroachment of land, stated: “I am satisfied with the action taken by the Deputy Commissioner on my complaint. It was nice to see that the problems of people are being taken up for redress so promptly.”
