8 nominations received from 7 wards in Thanesar

Eight candidates on Friday filed their nomination papers from seven different wards of the Thanesar Municipal Council for the upcoming MC elections.

One nomination was received for the by-election for the Ismailabad chairperson post.

District Municipal Commissioner Satinder Siwach said Nishchaldeep from Ward 5, Manisha from Ward 6, Nirmal Singh from Ward 10, Rajender Kumar from Ward 12, Gurdial Singh and Anirudh Kaushik from Ward 18, Hulas Singh from Ward 19 and Mamta Rani from Ward 31 had filed

their nominations.

Deepshikha has filed her nomination for the Ismailabad chairperson by-election. Polling will be held on March 2, and with vote-counting set for March 12.
