9,309 free dialysis sessions conducted: Health Minister
Health and Family Welfare Minister Arti Singh Rao today stated that a total of 99,309 free dialysis sessions had been successfully conducted between October 18, 2024 and April 30, 2025, under the haemodialysis services operating across 22 districts of the state.
She noted that dialysis is a costly medical procedure, yet a lifesaving one for patients suffering from kidney-related ailments. However, this service is now being provided entirely free of cost to all citizens of Haryana.
Currently, the facility is available in 20 district civil hospitals and two government medical colleges located in Karnal and Nuh. In addition, eligible beneficiaries can also access this service free of charge at hospitals empanelled under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
Rao stated that the state government’s objective is to ensure that no citizen is deprived of critical healthcare due to financial constraints.
