The local BJP unit, led by district chief Sushil Rana, staged a demonstration and burnt the effigies of AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi for their remarks against the Haryana Government.

The protesters gathered at Mohan Nagar Chowk in Kurukshetra, raised slogans against AAP leaders and burnt their effigies. They accused AAP of misleading public to get votes.

Sailesh Vats, party’s media coordinator, said, “AAP leaders have been levelling baseless and absurd allegations just to hide their growing frustration in view of their imminent electoral defeat. Kejriwal has been trying to divert the attention of public from his government’s failure by creating unnecessary controversies.”
