Hisar, March 3
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) senior vice-president Anurag Dhanda today said the party was fully prepared for the Lok Sabha poll in Kurukshetra and it would open its account with victory at Kurukshetra. The AAP has got the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha seat under alliance with the India bloc.
He was addressing a press conference after inaugurating the district office in Hisar. Dhanda said a new chapter of the AAP had begun in Hisar with the opening of the party office.
The leaders of the local unit, including district president Dalbir Kirmara, Lok Sabha constituency in-charge Pawan Fauji, state spokesperson Umesh Sharma, Rajendra Sorkhi, Bhupendra Beniwal, CP Gupta and Satbir Jhajaria were present.
Dhanda said farmers had suffered huge losses due to hailstorm. “The Khattar government should give fixed compensation to them at the earliest without undertaking any girdawari. The mustard crop in the state was ripened and ready for harvesting. The wheat crop has already yielded corn,” he said, adding hail had hit both the crops hard.
