Accused in Rs 3K cr fraud case finally appears in court
Radheshyam, also known as Param Guru and accused in a Rs 3,000 crore fraud case linked to the Future Maker company, appeared before the Fatehabad court on Saturday.
The case against Radheshyam has been ongoing since 2022 with fraud cases registered against him in multiple locations, including Fatehabad. Radheshyam was summoned by the court to attend the hearing in connection with the fraud case.
According to sources, the court had warned Radheshyam’s lawyer that if he did not appear by 5 pm, his bail would be cancelled. Following this warning, Radheshyam appeared in court after lunch, wearing his trademark saffron clothes, and gave his statement.
The hearing took place in Judge Hemant Yadav’s court No. 2. BJP leader Anil Sihaag, who had also filed a complaint in Fatehabad, expressed hope that the court’s strict approach would lead to justice for the victims.
Sihaag stated that Radheshyam’s repeated absence in the past hearings had led to the court’s firm stance.
After the hearing, Radheshyam told mediapersons that he had been suffering from back pain but had still made it to the court as his presence was necessary.
He also mentioned that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had seized the money in question and assured investors that they would soon receive their refunds.
Regarding rumours of constructing an ashram and cow shelter in Dabwali, Radheshyam denied any such plans stating that it was a project proposed by his followers.
