Kapur commended the Rotary Club, Yamunanagar, for its dedicated efforts in upgrading the infrastructure of both the TDTR DAV Institute of Physiotherapy and the JN Kapur DAV Dental College. He expressed special gratitude to former president Karan Bindlish for his active involvement in the project and acknowledged former district governor rotarian Subhash Chander Garg for his significant contributions towards strengthening both institutions.

In his address, Kapur fondly remembered his father, the late JN Kapur, describing him as a visionary philanthropist who transformed Abdullapur village into an educational hub by establishing a chain of DAV institutions through community donations. He said that JN Kapur not only pioneered the DAV movement in Yamunanagar but also laid the foundation for health education by establishing Haryana’s first Physiotherapy College—the TDTR DAV Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation—in 1997, and the state’s first postgraduate DAV Dental College with support from his daughter, Prof Swyarna Mahendru, and funds raised from NRIs.
