After his election, Singh thanked the BJP leadership and fellow members. “I am grateful to the party leaders and the ZP members for their support as no other nomination was received and I was elected unopposed. It shows the faith the members have in me and the BJP. I assure all the members that equal grants will be given in all the wards so that developmental works can be resumed. We will focus on improving sanitation conditions, parks, playgrounds and bus queue shelters,” he said.
