Agency hired to lift cow dung from three dairy complexes in twin cities
Yamunanagar, August 2
An agency will now lift cow dung from three dairy complexes in Raipur, Kail and Aurangabad villages near Yamunanagar and Jagadhri. The Yamunanagar-Jagadhri Municipal Corporation (MCYJ) has called a tender to get the works done in these dairy complexes. Earlier, these works were being done by the MCYJ itself.
MCYJ Commissioner Ayush Sinha said the lifting of cow dung and cleaning work would be done on a regular basis. He added that there were four dairy complexes here and these were set up by the MCYJ. He added that arrangements to lift dung and cleaning had already been made in the Darwa dairy complex through an agency.
“The MCYJ has called a tender for lifting of cow dung and cleaning of drains and streets in dairy complexes in Raipur, Kail and Aurangabad villages. After the allotment of work order, the assigned agency shall be responsible for these tasks,” said Sinha. He said a fine would be imposed on the agency if any negligence was found in carrying out the work.
The Raipur dairy complex is spread over 9 acres and there are 123 plots here; Kail dairy complex is spread over 6 acres with 157 plots; and the Aurangabad dairy complex is spread over 9 acres with 109 plots. — TNS
