Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana distributed sports equipment kits, solar panels and e-rickshaws for garbage management in Tigra, Harnaul, Saran and Bakana villages falling under the Radaur Assembly constituency of Yamunanagar district.
Visiting those villages, he talked to the villagers and listened to their problems.While interacting with the villagers, he said the BJP government was working in the interests of every section of society.
He said through this basic mantra, emphasis was being laid on good governance.
He further said his objective was that maximum development work should be done in the district and maximum facilities should be made available to the common people.
He said the public had elected him as their public representative, so it was his responsibility to do development work for the public.
The minister said the state government had launched several schemes to promote sports. “The Sports Policy has been implemented by the BJP government. Today, the youth of the state are bringing glory to the state as well as the country by winning medals in national and international level competitions,” said Rana.
He said the state government also provided incentives to the players, who won medals in sports.“Earlier, there were no facilities in the country in the name of sports and players had to work hard without facilities to win medals. The objective of the Haryana Government in ‘Khelo India’ is to build stadiums in every village and provide sports equipment and promote sports,” added Rana.
He said Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was getting development works done equally in all Assembly constituencies of the state without any discrimination.
“We have to give our full contribution in making the country a developed nation by the year 2047,” said Rana.
On the occasion, he also listened to the problems of the villagers. He appealed to the youths to participate more and more in sports, so that their health would remain good and they would bring glory to the country and the state.
On the occasion, Radaur SDM Narender Singh, former MLA Ishwar Singh Palaka, DIPR Dr Manoj Kumar, District Sports Officer Shilpa Gupta, Dr Satpal Bahamani and others were present.
