Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), Sirsa, celebrated alumni day under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Narsi Ram Bishnoi on Saturday.

The event was held across departments and was marked with enthusiasm and joy.

Bishnoi expressed pride in the university’s alumni, highlighting that the identity of any educational institution was shaped by its students.

He encouraged alumni to stay connected with their departments and contribute to the university’s development. Alumni Association Director Surender Singh thanked department heads.

Alumni Association Secretary Dr Amit Sangwan said such events provided new directions for the youth.

Department heads, including Sanjeet (MBA), Ranjit Kaur (Punjabi), Mukesh Garg (Law), Dr Sanju (Food Science), and Sewa Singh (Mass Communication and Journalism), shared insights about how alumni contributed to shaping the university’s image and helped guide current students in their career paths.

Other departments, including commerce, Sanskrit and education, hosted departmental alumni meetings.
