Anurag Rastogi, an IAS officer, assumed the charge of Chief Secretary of Haryana on Thursday.

He has been appointed as Chief Secretary for the departments of General Administration, Human Resources, Personnel & Training, Parliamentary Affairs, Vigilance, and as Secretary Incharge of Plan Coordination.

Additionally, Rastogi will oversee the Finance and Planning Department as Additional Chief Secretary, alongside his existing responsibilities.

Following his appointment, Rastogi paid a courtesy call to Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya in Chandigarh.
