Applicants file papers as Karnal Bar Association elections begin
The nomination process for the Karnal Bar Association (KBA) elections commenced on Tuesday.
The process will continue on February 13 and 14.

The RO and the AROs said candidates could submit their nominations on February 13 and 14 between 11 am and 3 pm. Nomination papers would be scrutinised on February 15, and shortlisted candidates would be announced after, they added.
February 17 has been set as the deadline for candidates to withdraw their nominations, following which the final list of candidates will be declared. The election is scheduled for February 28, with voting taking place from 9 am to 4.30 pm. Vote counting will begin at 5 pm, and results will be announced the same evening.
The officials said proper arrangements would be made to ensure a smooth and peaceful election process.
