Kurukshetra, July 15

The vice-chairman of the board of the Haryana Saraswati Heritage Development, Dhunam Singh, on Wednesday informed that Chandigarh College of Architecture would prepare the design of the riverfront of Saraswati channel at Pipli in Kurukshetra.

A team of three Assistant Professors from the college, along with the officials of the HSHDB, visited the Saraswati channel yesterday.

Dhuman said: “A strategy has been chalked out to develop the Saraswati riverfront as a tourist attraction. We have planned to develop the riverfront on the pattern of the Sabarmati riverfront. The design is expected to be prepared in 10 days.”
