Arm wrestling, boxing contests held during All-India Police meet

On the third day of the 74th All India Police Wrestling Cluster 2025-26 at Haryana Police Academy (HPA) Madhuban, high energy contests of arm wrestling, boxing and wrestling were played in both men and women.

In women's arm wrestling of 50 kg category, Manisha Chahar of Rajasthan secured the first place, while Lovita Koch of Assam and Ruchi Chauhan of UP stood second and third positions, respectively. In 60 kg category, Vandalyn Syiemiong of Meghalaya clinched the gold, Neeraj of UP earned silver and Hongbari Timungpi of Assam took bronze. In 70 kg category, S Rani Devi of Manipur won the top spot, Vandana Devi of UP took second, and Mini K.of Kerala secured third place.

In men’s arm wrestling 70 kg category, Ajay Pal Singh of UP bagged the first place, followed by Lalmangaihzuala of Mizoram on second spot and Kanan V.C.of Kerala on third position.

In men’s boxing of 47-50 kg category, Sudeep Kumar of UP defeated M Vinod Kumar of Telangana, while Harikrishnan B (Telangana) beat Sahil Sarkar (Assam). Mohammad Askin (CRPF) won 5-0 against Amal Gopal Bhalerao (Maharashtra). Anurag Kumar (SSB) beat Anand Singh Chauhan (CISF) 3-2.

In 50–55 kg category, Manish Rathore (ITBP) beat S Shyam (Tamil Nadu), while Navraj (CISF) defeated Kapil Singh (Rajasthan) 5-0. Sohil Khan (Assam Rifles) overcame Sahinoor Model (West Bengal) and Lalit (BSF) defeated Umesh Kumar (SSB) 3-2.

In 55–60 kg category, Harsh (CISF) won from M. Ajay Kumar (Tamil Nadu) 3-2, while Sunil Chauhan (UP) defeated KH Nongdamkhomba Singh (Assam Rifles) by 4-1, Manish Kumar (Bihar) dominated Iqbir Singh (Punjab) 5-0 and Raman (ITBP) overpowered Chinglema Moirangthem (BSF) 5-0.
