Arms-making tools seized

The local police have seized several arms-making tools from an illegal weapon manufacturing unit in Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh.
The success came after the unit was raided in connection with the busting of a gang involved in the smuggling of illegal arms. Forty-one pistols and country-made revolvers were seized by the police in the district on July 10. SP Rajesh Duggal said a police team found a factory operating in an unlawful manner at Sadar Sendhwa village of Barwani district in Madhya Pradesh.
The action came on the basis of information provided by two accused already in police custody. Kilor Singh and Jam Singh, both from Barwani district, were arrested for possessing 41 illegal pistols and 11 magazines on July 10. The raid in MP was conducted in coordination with the local police.
