Army quadcopter crashes in Ambala after technical snag

A quadcopter of the Indian Army, while on a training sortie, lost contact and fell in an open area at Dhulkot village of Ambala on Sunday. No injuries or damage to property were reported in the incident.

After spotting the quadcopter, the local residents alerted the police. Meanwhile, officials from the Army and Air Force also reached the spot and took the debris of the quadcopter away.

A police official, who reached the spot, said during some training by the Army, the quadcopter came out of the Army area and fell on the road.

As per the Western Command, Indian Army enhanced training post-Operation Sindoor is being undertaken. At about 1200 hours on July 20, a quadcopter, while on a training sortie, lost contact due to technical snag and fell in an open area at Dhulkot.
