“The commencement of the bus stand is a major relief for the residents of Assandh and nearby villages. Better connectivity means better access to employment, education, and healthcare,” said Rana.

He shared that 25 buses were allotted to the Assandh sub-bus depot, which would operate on 26 different routes daily. These include services to Delhi, Amritsar, Yamunanagar, Haridwar, Shamli, Gohana and various local routes within the Asandh sub-division. He said the bus services would be expanded further based on public demand and requirements.

Considering the large number of pilgrims during the Sawan month, Rana also asked the Karnal GM to start a dedicated bus service from Assandh to Haridwar, enabling devotees to travel comfortably for religious purposes. “The people of Assandh are my family. I am aware of every issue faced by them, and the BJP government is working at a rapid pace to resolve these. No stone will be left unturned in Asandh’s development,” he said.

On the occasion, Rana also participated in a plantation drive on the bus stand premises under the campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’, delivering a message on environmental conservation.
