Two doctors, who are doing apprenticeship here after studying MBBS from the university, said that in 2023, Umar was absent from the hospital and university for nearly six months without any leave and information. The strange thing is that on returning, he directly joined duty without any action.

They added that from the very beginning, Umar took very few classes. He would only take one or two lectures a week and even those would last a maximum of 15-20 minutes. Then, he would return to his room. The other lecturers did not like this. The doctors said Umar was always assigned the evening or night shifts at the hospital.

More than 200 doctors and staff at the university are under the scanner of investigative agencies. Some individuals left the university after the November 10 Delhi bombings and are being identified. The agencies suspect these individuals were linked to terrorists. Many people have deleted their mobile data, which will be investigated. The police are searching hostels and the rooms of students living outside, and more than 1,000 people have been questioned.

Sources said that these terrorists became more active in 2022. They began collecting and purchasing explosives for bomb blasts in 2024. It is also being said that some of the ammonium nitrate seized was purchased from Kashmir. According to sources, investigating agencies have seized two invoices dated September 25, 2024, showing delivery from Kashmir.
