A man died after he was reportedly attacked by a bull in Prahladpuri Colony in Yamunanagar on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Kuldeep Singh of Shivpuri Colony.

According to information, Kuldeep Singh had gone to buy milk from a dairy this morning.

On the way, he was reportedly attacked by the bull.

Kuldeep was taken to Mukand Lal District Civil Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Mehroof Ali, SHO, Gandhi Nagar police station, said that they got information through the control room that a man had been attacked by a bull.

He said Kuldeep died at the hospital and after a post-mortem, the body was handed over to his kin. “Local residents are facing a number of problems due to stray cattle in Yamunanagar and Jagadhri. The Municipal Corporation should make cities cattle-free as early as possible,” said a social worker, Anil Kaushik of Yamunanagar.

The Municipal Corporation, Yamunanagar-Jagadhri (MCYJ) is carrying out a drive to catch stray cattle here. Its teams had caught 25 stray cattle from several areas of Yamunanagar on Tuesday.
