Tanwar to launch front in 3 months

Former MP Ashok Tanwar has announced that he will launch a new front within three months. The former state Congress president was addressing a ‘Swabhiman Diwas’ rally organised by his supporters today.

Lambasting the Congress and BJP, Tanwar announced that he would provide a new option on the lines of the Delhi Assembly poll results.

Seeking support of the people, Tanwar said he was ready for a new political fight if they were with him. He assured them that the future would belong to those who valued self-respect and struggle.

He said the Congress had not come to power for decades in Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Odisha and the same model would come up in Haryana.

Tanwar alleged that scam-tainted leaders of the Congress and BJP were running governments in Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

He said the new option would work as an opposition party to establish the system of brotherhood and free the state of the Congress and BJP.

Appealing to his supporters to devise a strategy for the new organisation within three months, Tanwar said the new organisation could be joined by giving a missed call on the mobile number 8059904333.

He said the new organisation would lead the people against those involved in political bargaining and scams and deceiving farmers and labourers.

Taking on the BJP on the CAA-NRC issue, he said it was a dictatorial decision to line up 125 billion people on the lines of demonetisation.

He said approximately Rs 4 lakh crore would be spent on the exercise though government deficit was increasing regularly and banks were incurring losses due to NPAs valued at Rs 8 lakh crore.

Taking a dig at the Congress, Tanwar said the party was enacting a drama in the name of reservation and by opposing amendments in the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. He highlighted backlog in promotion and Gohana, Mirchpur and Bhagana incidents to make his point.

He said the Congress should not forget that the apex court had announced its decision about reservation in promotions on an appeal by then Congress Chief Minister Harish Rawat. Factionalism and indiscipline were in the DNA of the Congress, he claimed.

Former state BSP president Prakash Bharti, former MP Pramod Kureel, former Ambassador Azaad Singh Toor and Tanwar’s wife Avantika Maken Tanwar were present.
