Vice-Chancellor Prof Ajmer Singh Malik said the CDLU was the leading university in the state in the implementation of NEP-2020. Now, the admission to undergraduate programmes from the academic session 2022-23 will be done through the Combined University Entrance Examination and National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct this exam. May 6, 2022 is the last date for applying for this test and the students who have passed or appeared in Class XII exam are eligible for this exam. The university has established a help desk for the students. Ved Prakash Yadav, Vice Chairman, Haryana School Education Board said students would be benefited from the Common University Entrance. Principals of various schools in the district participated in this programme along with District Education Officer Sant Kumar.

Rs 30L grant for cancer research
Faridabad: Two teachers of the JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, have been selected to receive a research grant of Rs 30 lakh for their research project titled ‘Development of spiropyran based metal complexes as potent drug candidate for effective photodynamic and photothermal cancer therapy’ under a scheme funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. A project submitted by Dr Bhawna Uttam and Dr Amit Rajput as principal investigator and co-principal investigator, both assistant professors in the department of chemistry, has been selected for the special grant, said Vice Chancellor Prof SK Tomar. The proposed project is aimed at developing effective and affordable methodologies to treat cancer patients.
