It is observed that all fruit vendors in the city invariably paste stickers on imported/exotic fruits and vegetables to give them a premium look thereby, enabling them to sell the same at exorbitant prices. The adhesive used to paste the stickers contains harmful chemicals which may affect human health thereby leading to various diseases. The Food and Drug Administration, Panchkula, should immediately ban the use of stickers.
