Two candidates filed their nomination papers for Baroda Assembly seat with returning officer (RO)-cum-SDM Gohana Ashish Kumar on the first day of nomination today.

Ashish Kumar, RO, said that Ramesh Khatri Nambardar (59) of Garhi Brahmnan village and Dikshit Khatri of ward 30 in Sonepat have filed their nomination as Independent candidates.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
