Health and Civil Aviation Minister Kamal Gupta inaugurated beautification projects worth Rs 46 lakh in Hisar today.
The minister inaugurated a replica of the Red Fort at Tulsi Chowk, built at a cost of approximately Rs 20 lakh; a replica of Chandrayaan near Laxmibai Chowk at a cost of Rs 17 lakh; and a replica of India Gate at the entry point from Sector 9-11, Delhi Road, at a cost of Rs 9 lakh.
While inaugurating the projects, Gupta said that symbols of national pride have been installed at various squares in Hisar. He said that he was committed to undertaking as many development projects as possible here. The minister stated that the government has been focusing on uniform development of the state over the past 10 years.
The municipal corporation is rapidly carrying out development and beautification works in the town.He said the development achieved by the Haryana Government has been possible due to the double-engine government. He said Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was working with a spirit of public service and launching various schemes for the welfare of people. He added that ‘Samadhan Shivir’ was organised in every district from 9 to 11 am daily to ensure immediate resolution of public issues, allowing people to benefit from various welfare schemes of the government.
