The Bhiwani-Mahendragarh MP said the roads from the Tigrana turn to Jui Canal on Hansi Road; and from the Devi Lal statue at Auto Market Chowk to Haluvas village and further to the by-pass would be converted into CC four-lane roads.

Footpaths would be built on both sides of the roads, he added, stating that bypass intersection ahead of Haluvas village on Dadri Road would be elevated to avoid mishaps. He said funds for the re-construction of roads had been released, and work would begin soon.

The Bhiwani MLA raised concerns related to drinking water and sewerage in the town. Singh directed the officials of the Irrigation Department to ensure grievance redressal, and asked the officials concerned to drain out rainwater accumulated in many villages — including Dhanana, Mundhal, Dang, Tigrana, and Premnagar — setting October 31 as the deadline, in a bid to ensure that farmers could sow the next crop.

He said that a committee should be formed to monitor the drainage of water from fields, which should submit daily reports. The MP added that farmers should receive the benefits of the crop insurance scheme. He directed the officials concerned to take action against officials involved in crop-cutting irregularities.

He said efforts should be made to improve soil health, suggesting that a letter be written to the Centre, requesting a budget to re-build the drains in fields that were destroyed during the rains. The MPs reviewed the implementation of various public welfare schemes by several departments during the meeting.
