Residents of Mangalam Enclave Society, located on Hansi Road in Bhiwani, are being supplied with foul-smelling contaminated water. Residents complained that visible impurities in the water accompanied by stench was being supplied to their homes which could lead to health concerns, particularly among children and the elderly, in the locality.

Expressing their anger, the residents submitted a complaint to the district administration authorities demanding immediate resolution of the issue.

The society residents, including Lata Baweja, Aarti Soni, Sudha Sharma, Dr Narender Taneja, Manoj Sharma, Nishant Sharma, Rajkumar, Rajesh Jain, Sumit Jain, Sanchit Goyal and Manish Verma jointly stated that the authorities concerned must fulfil its responsibility towards the public and ensure access to potable water.

According to the residents, consumption and use of the contaminated water had led to health problems, including skin infections and stomach-related issues. "The water is so dirty that it is unfit for drinking or even household use. It is a direct threat to our health," they said. They warned that if the issue was not resolved soon, they would be forced to launch a stir for highlighting the problem.
