Bhiwani varsity launches course on semiconductors

Deepti Dharmani, vice-chancellor, Chaudhary Bansi Lal University (CBLU), stated that the university was working to advance the India Semiconductor Mission.
In a press conference today, the VC stated that electronic chips were being used in everything from watches to tanks in the ever-expanding scientific age.
“In the age of Artificial Intelligence, semiconductors are critical for a wide range of electronic devices, including robots, mobile phones, sensors, electric vehicles, computers and various automated factories,” the VC added.
He said the Union Government launched the India Semiconductor Mission with the goal of establishing a global semiconductor hub.
“To further the mission, the CBLU has taken the initiative and launched a special course on semiconductor manufacturing under the New Education Policy. Students enrolled in this course will be able to get internships at reputable institutions across the country,” Dharmani added.
