Bihar, Haryana have deep cultural, traditional connection: CM Saini
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today said Bihar and Haryana have a deep cultural and traditional connection.
Speaking on the occasion 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Sneh Milan' function organised on the occasion of Bihar Day in Kurukshetra, the CM said: “The land of Haryana has always been of hard working and industrious people. The people of Bihar are also known for their hard work, struggle and self-confidence. The people of Bihar have contributed significantly to the development of Haryana, be it agriculture, industry, trade or service sector. Lakhs of workers, doctors, engineers, bureaucrats and other workforce of Bihar have contributed a lot to the development of Haryana.”
The CM said: “For the first time in Haryana, 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Sneh Milan' function was organised in Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Gurugram, Faridabad, Panipat and Sonepat. This day reminds us of our glorious tradition and rich culture of unity in diversity.”
The Chief Minister announced that on getting land in Kurukshetra, a dharamshala will be built for the Purvanchal community. He said Bihar was earlier counted among the backward states, but today it is writing a new story of development.
Bihar's Sugarcane Industry Minister Krishnanandan Paswan said the Haryana Government was giving the opportunity to the citizens of Bihar to move forward in its state. Just as Bihar is the birthplace of migrant brothers, Kurukshetra is the 'karmabhoomi' of migrant brothers. Therefore, migrant people should work hard on this holy land.
