The BJP has begun micro-management of the elections for the municipal corporations and councils in the state.
Committees for poll management, coordination and publicity have been formed for all 10 municipal corporations and five municipal councils of the state.
The committees comprise Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, state Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Krishan Lal Middha, state BJP president Mohan Lal Badoli, Union Ministers Manohar Lal, Rao Inderjit Singh and Krishan Pal Gurjar, several Haryana ministers, besides MLAs and other leaders of the ruling party.
As per a list of the members of these committees released by the Haryana BJP, the committee for Faridabad Municipal Corporation is headed by Union minister Krishan Pal Gurjar, Hisar Municipal Corporation by Haryana Minister Ranbir Gangwa, Karnal Municipal Corporation by Union Minister Manohar Lal, Panipat Municipal Corporation by Haryana Minister Krishan Lal Panwar, Rohtak Municipal Corporation by Haryana Minister Arvind Sharma, Yamunanagar Municipal Corporation by Shyam Singh Rana, Gurugram and Manesar Municipal Corporations by Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh.
The committee for Sonepat Municipal Corporation (byelection) is headed by Haryana BJP president Mohan Lal Badoli and comprises state Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Krishan Middha.
The committee for Ambala Municipal Corporation (byelection) is headed by Haryana Minister Anil Vij.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini heads the committee constituted for Thanesar Municipal Council.
The committee for Pataudi Municipal Council is headed by Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh, Sirsa Municipal Council by Haryana Minister Krishan Bedi, Ambala Municipal Council by Anil Vij and Sohna Municipal Council (byelection) by Haryana Minister Gaurav Gautam.
