Chandigarh, November 9
Meham MLA Balraj Kundu on Saturday said it was due to the planning between the Congress and the BJP that discussion on the Centre’s three farm laws couldn’t take place in the Assembly session.
The Independent MLA claimed that the government didn’t have any reply to the questions raised by him regarding the three farm laws.
Kundu said he wanted to have a discussion on the 1,983 sacked PTI teachers. He expressed surprise over the fact that after increasing student-teacher ratio, the government now claimed that there was no need of JBT teachers.
He, however, praised the government over 75 per cent reservation for the state youth in jobs, 50 per cent reservation for women in panchayats and five-year relaxation for economically backward people in police recruitment.
