Following the civic elections, the BJP has moved to bolster its organisational structure in Haryana. The ruling party is set to elect 27 district presidents across the state on Monday, marking a significant step in its expansion efforts. As part of this initiative, the party has added five new districts from an organisational perspective: Hansi, Gohana, Dabwali, Ballabhgarh and Gurugram Metropolitan.

BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli said while Haryana officially has 22 districts, the party has created five additional districts to enhance its operational efficiency. These new districts include Hansi (carved out of Hisar), Gohana (from Sonepat), Dabwali (from Sirsa), Ballabhgarh (from Faridabad) and Gurugram Metropolitan (from Gurugram).

“The organisational expansion work was temporarily halted due to the civic polls, but the process has now resumed,” Badoli said. He emphasised the party’s democratic ethos, noting, “BJP is a democratic political party. From the national president to the booth president, everyone is selected democratically.”

The election process for all 27 district presidents is currently underway, with applications submitted across the districts. Badoli confirmed that the selection process would be completed by Monday. “With the increase in the number of districts, the distribution of work will be more efficient, and more party workers will have the opportunity to contribute. Some districts are geographically vast, which is why we have aligned them with Assembly constituencies,” he added.

Badoli also highlighted the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, crediting him with elevating the nation’s pride and the dignity of its 140 crore citizens. “The Central government under Modi and the state government led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini are working on the motto of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas and Sabka Vishwas.’ However, some individuals are unable to accept the BJP’s growing popularity,” he said.

The state BJP chief further said the people of Haryana are satisfied with the Saini-led government’s performance, as evidenced by the party’s landslide victory in the civic polls. “The people have given us a strong mandate, enabling the formation of a triple-engine government in the state. Now, the BJP will work with triple speed to deliver on its promises,” Badoli added.
