The BJP on Monday expelled eight party leaders for six years, effective immediately, for contesting the Municipal Corporation (MC) elections against the party’s councillor candidates in the upcoming MC polls.
The orders were issued by BJP District President Dushyant Bhatt. The leaders include former councillor and executive committee member Satish Saini, former councillor and executive committee member Shakuntla Garg, former councillor and executive committee member Anjali Sharma, former councillor and executive committee member Suman Chhabra, former councillor and executive committee member Attar Singh Rawal, executive committee member Ashok Chhabra, Ramakant Giri of the Purvanchal Cell, and booth president Dinesh Sharma.
